Blackcurrant Puree
Blackcurrant puree is delicious and versatile and is widely used in toppings, yogurts and bakery products such as fruit pie fillings. Puree is manufactured from ripe, graded blackcurrants either fresh or frozen.
The blackcurrants are heated to above 70 degrees then screened through a refiner to remove seeds and skins, and hot filled into packaging. Puree can be supplied as either seedless or seed-in, upon request.
